Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Long Island Christmas Lights Pros. These Terms andConditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services,including the design, installation, maintenance, and removal of Christmaslights and holiday decorations. By engaging our services, you agree to complywith the following terms.
2. Services Provided
- Design and Installation: We offer professional design and installation of Christmas lights and decorations at residential and commercial properties.
- Maintenance and Repairs: We provide maintenance services during the holiday season for any technical or aesthetic issues related to the installed decorations.
- Removal of Decorations: Removal services will take place after the holiday season, on a date agreed upon in advance.
3. Material Ownership and Leasing Agreement
- All materials, including but not limited to lights, wiring, fixtures, and decorations, are the property of Long Island Christmas Lights Pros.
- This is a leasing agreement, and the client is leasing the use of these materials for the duration of the holiday season or for the agreed-upon period.
- The client does not own or have rights to the materials at any time. Upon removal, all materials will be retrieved by Long Island Christmas Lights Pros.
- Any damage or loss of materials while under the client’s care will be charged to the client.
4. Booking and Scheduling
- Quotations: All service bookings are subject to an initial consultation and quotation. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
- Scheduling: Installation and removal dates will be agreed upon at the time of booking. Please note that installation slots may be limited during peak holiday periods.
- Changes to Schedule: Requests to change installation or removal dates must be made at least 7 days in advance. We cannot guarantee that changes will be accommodated due to prior bookings.
5. Pricing and Payment
- Pricing: All prices are subject to change based on the scope of the project, the complexity of the installation, and the location of the property. Any additional services not included in the initial quote will be charged separately.
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking.
- Full Payment: Full payment is due immediately after the installation is complete.
- Late Payment: Late payments may incur additional charges and may result in a delay in services.
6. Return Policy
- Custom Designs: Since Christmas light displays are custom-designed for each client’s property, we do not offer returns or exchanges on completed installations.
- Pre-Installation Cancellations: If you cancel your order before installation begins, you may be eligible for a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
- Post-Installation Adjustments: Once the installation is complete, any adjustments or modifications requested will be subject to additional charges, as this is considered a separate service.
- Faulty Materials: In the event that any of the materials provided by Long Island Christmas Lights Pros are found to be defective within 3 years of installation, we will repair or replace them at no additional charge.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation by the Client: Cancellations must be made at least 15 days prior to the scheduled installation date to receive a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
- Cancellation by the Company: In the event that Long Island Christmas Lights Pros is unable to perform the services due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
- No Refunds: Once installation has begun, no refunds will be provided.
8. Liability
- Damage to Property: Long Island Christmas Lights Pros will take all necessary precautions to ensure safe installation and removal of decorations. However, we are not liable for any pre-existing damage to the property or any damage caused by improper use or tampering with the decorations after installation.
- Personal Injury: Long Island Christmas Lights Pros is not responsible for any injuries sustained by the client or third parties while the decorations are in place.
- Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays, damage, or cancellation due to events beyond our control, such as severe weather conditions, acts of God, or government regulations.
9. Customer Responsibilities
- Access to Property: Clients must ensure that we have full access to the property at the agreed-upon installation and removal times.
- Power Supply: Clients must provide a working outdoor electrical outlet. Any power issues caused by insufficient outlets or electrical capacity are the responsibility of the client.
- Decorations: Decorations provided by the client must be in good working order. Long Island Christmas Lights Pros is not responsible for damage to client-owned decorations during installation or removal.
10. Warranties
- Lighting Warranty: All lights and materials provided by Long Island Christmas Lights Pros are covered by a 3-year warranty for defects in materials and workmanship.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage caused by weather, animals, vandalism, or misuse.
11. Termination
Long Island Christmas Lights Pros reserves the right toterminate the agreement if the client fails to adhere to the Terms andConditions, or if we deem the installation site unsafe or impractical for theservices to be carried out.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed inaccordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising fromthese terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of[Your Jurisdiction].
